Dear ION2022 Participants,

Please use your ION2022 accounts (the same created in order to register to the conference) to submit your manuscripts.

1) Login to the system. If you forget your password you may reset it. The link will be sent to your e-mail address used during the registration.

2) There are "Manuscript 1" (and so on) fields in the blue part of your screen. Please fill in the "title" and "authors" fields, then upload the manuscript file (and attachments, like figures, if necessary). Select preferred journal. DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK "SUBMIT" BUTTON TO FINISH THE PROCESS!

3) In case you want to publish in Advances in Science and Technology - Research Journal : please have in mind that manuscript submission is necessary in order to check its compliance with this journal scope. As soon as you are informed that your paper is suitable for that journal it is your responsibility to submit your manuscript to AST-RJ manuscript submission system at: Advances in Science and Technology- Research Journal (https://www.editorialsystem.com/astrj).

Please remember to use "ION2022" path in the AST-RJ submission system!

4) If your choice is Acta Physica Polonica A - your submission is ready. We will use the system to collect reviews and pass it to you, an then to collect final versions, whenever necessary.

PRESENTATIONS

A computer with Microsoft Office will be available for presentations. Alternatively you will be able to connect your own computer.

PROCEEDINGS

Two paths of paper publication will be possible. First of them (say "traditional") is publication in Acta Physica Polonica A open access journal, recognized by Scopus, Web of Science and JCR list etc. (70 pts according to Polish Ministry of Education journal list). The second possibility is publication in Advances in Science and Technology- Research Journal a peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original research articles in selected areas of engineering, computing and technology (100 pts according to Polish Ministry of Education journal list, not recognised by Clarivate JCR list).

The second path may be more attractive to ION participants interested in engineering or affiliated to technical universities. The participants will be asked about their preferences concerning publication path during abstract/manuscript submission. It is the authors' responsibility to prepare manuscripts according to aims and scopes of the two journals as well as in accordance with their respective guides for authors. The organizing committee reserves the right to override the participant choice.

Moreover, authors of selected manuscripts will be encouraged to submit them to high-impact open-access journals (like MDPI Materials, Energies etc.). The organizing committee will reimburse article processing charges if the manuscripts passes the journal's review procedure and is accepted for publication. The manuscript selection will be performed by joint scientific and organizing committees.
